Ø  Professor PENG's main research interests are in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood hematological diseases and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). He has rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML), with over 90% overall survival (OS) in 5 years of transplantation, which was reported as a poster at the American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting (ASH) for 3 times;

Ø  In 2017, he completed the first clinical study of gene therapy for thalassaemia in China, and carried out Cart cell therapy for childhood ALL/AML at an early stage in China;

Ø  He chaired and participated in more than 20 papers, and the results of CLL1- Cart cell therapy for AML were published as co-monographs in Leukemia in 2023.

Professor PENG has engaged in clinical work for 14 years, he presided over one provincial project, and participated in the phase II of major special projects of Guangzhou Science and Technology Project Health Care Collaborative Innovation: “Therapeutic strategy and clinical scheme of thalassemia based on stem cell technology”(Project number: 201508020258). Professor PENG is currently responsible for the research of the Gene Project of Thalassemia, and has completed the Ethical Application (Approval#[2018](002).

2004.07—2007.06 Engaged in clinical internal medicine in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Medical University.

2007.07—2010.08 Worked in the Department of Paediatrics of General Hospital of Southern Theatre Command，and was awarded "Third Class Merit" by the hospital.

2010.09—2013.06 Completed postgraduate studies and clinical work in Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University.

2013.07—2018.07 Worked as an attending physician at Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University, with main research interests in pediatric oncology  and HSCT, and was awarded "Advanced Individual" by the hospital for many times.

2018.07-present  work at Nanfang-Chunfu Children’s Institute of Hematology & Oncology, continuing to engage in the clinical work of children's haematology  and HSCT.
