Specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of hematological diseases,including Thalassemia,Aplastic Anemia(AA),Congenital Bone Marrow Failure,Congenital Immunodeficiency and Genetic Metabolic Diseases,various Leukemia,Lymphoma and Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis,etc.

Professor LI has over 40 years of experience in pediatrics.He has studied at St.Jude Children's Research Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center in the United States,Pesaro Bone Marrow Transplantation Center in Italy,and Kansai Medical University in Japan.

He is a member of the Stem Cell Transplantation Application Group of the Hematology Branch of Chinese Medical Association;member of Hematological Oncology Group of Chinese Academy of Pediatrics;member of Asian VIWA Bone Marrow Transplantation Committee;Honorary President of Thalassaemia Association of Guangdong Province;Former Director of Pediatrics in Nanfang Hospital;Vice Chairman of Guangdong Pediatric Anti-Cancer Prevention Association;Standing Committee of Pediatric Branch of Guangdong Medical Association.Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Pediatric Hematology&Oncology,and International Journal of Blood Transfusion and Hematology;He was the first president and founder of Guangdong Thalassemia Prevention Association.

Prof.LI has published numerous papers in leading hematology journals,including Blood,Br J Haematol,American Journal of Hematology,Blood Advance of Hematology.Additionally,Prof.LI has presented at the Annual Congress of the European Hematology Association(EHA)and the American Society of Hematology(ASH)for three consecutive years.With a focus on hematopoietic stem cell transplantation technology,he has constantly innovated and iterated transplantation protocols,completing over 1,800 cases of various types of pediatric haematopoietic stem cell transplants.
